eve93 that would be fantastic! Maria as a swearing assistant? I'll see if I can twist it enough at some point to make it fit their characters better!!!
So here's my contribution - it's based on my other favourite cute-meet which is when Hazel and Gus meet in the Fault in Our Stars. I love that movie. I saw it twice and sobbed like a baby both times!! And shock-horror - Liesl/Rolfe...I actually really like them as a couple, obviously not when he turns into a Nazi scumbag, but I reckon I could find a sympathetic light to his character even in that situation...if I tried really hard

Sorcha Would love to read it! I'm now imagining Georg doing this in his giant house. Oh God. Can't stop laughing. Just imagine it's Frau Schmidt who walks in on him instead of Mary! OMG! I know what I'll be dreaming about tonight...: Will read what you've come up with for now, even though it's Rolf/Liesl. I loved The Fault in Our Stars as well, so I'll definitely give it a go.

I kind of feel for Rolfe too, on occasion. He's a complete jerk, but I think regarding the Nazi scumbag issue, as you put it, he's been totally manipulated

Rolfe is your stereotypical Nazi youth. Hitler and the Nazi party did go after the youth and pretty much brainwashed them. The Nazi youth were trained to become soldiers later on. They indoctrinated them with all kinds of beliefs and essentially they became Hitler's puppets.

Chapter7 of Between the Lines is now up on FF. I thought this might be the penultimate chapter but now I'm not so sure! I apologise now for the angst!

I never believed when lemacd posted her awesome Feb prompt that it would lead to me writing my longest story to date. I just hope that Aprils prompt isn't as inspiring! (only joking!) So, without further ado here is the final chapter of my Feb prompt story. (There will be an epilogue though!) Between The Lines Chapter 13Thank you so much to everyone who has read and reviewed

Now that I'm almost over exams I'm definitely having a go at that - I adore that scene and for our silly play at school, we managed to coerce our headmistress into doing something like this but to 9 to 5 by Dolly Parton, and then filmed it!!!!

This is a great idea and I'm totally inspired! (But I'm actually still struggling through January's prompt - it's happening, just... slowly.) Here's my meet cute (not actually a "meet" since they've already met - but made me think of M/G given the whole lake/rowing business..) I realize not everyone's Canadian - so FYI, this is a scene from (another of my fav classics) Anne of Green Gables. So umm... remember this? 😬 A year and a half later, I finally have a story for this prompt! m.fanfiction.net/s/12564017/1/We-Can-Start-From-the-BeginningIt ended up being less of a scene and more of a multi-chapter thing - which is a big deal for me because of the handful of non-oneshots I've started in the past, I've finished exactly zero (which is why I haven't attempted any in over a decade). It's taken 1.5 years for me to get to a point where I even have a decent chance of finishing it. I'm currently handling a move, a newborn, and potty-training a toddler - so encouragement direly needed (and possibly also a sticker...) Thank you also for letting me silently lurk over the past few months and providing much needed distraction with your wonderful stories which I have not yet had time to review amid all this craziness. Xx

It's so nice to know you're keeping up with us despite your family demands - it takes me back- but it does get easier (eventually!)

That is SO good to hear (I'm also in the process of relocating my practice and I swear half these days I have no idea what I'm doing - TSOM is my stress relief, right now!) SaveSave

Yes - we had 3 kids in 5 years and I used to go to my medical work for my stress relief! (Seriously).
Our youngest is 13 and I am only now feeling that I can think straight some days...and TSOM is better than a relaxer-pill just before bed for me; I go to sleep with a smile on my face !
