I was a member of the subsequent TSOMfic forum (in about 2010?), and the chat on there was that (when asked) Vanessa wasn't very expansive as to why she chose to close the site, but she inferred that some people were irritating her too much for her to be bothered to continue. Sorry can't be more specific!
