I got this idea from a movie game I sometimes play at a movie fan page on fb... thought it could fun here. But only if everyone plays. Hint, hint.
How it's played: I'll post a line from the movie. The next person posts who the line is said TO with a line that character says, preferably to someone else so we don't just have a dialogue going back and forth. Unless we get stuck or it can't be helped. Lines from songs could be allowed, I suppose. Make sense? Confused? Here's an example:
first post : "what is it you can't face?"
next player: Maria - "any telegrams delivered here lately?"
next player: Liesl - "cordially?"
Get it now? Just remember, you’re naming the character the line is said TO, not who says it.
We won't be nit picky about getting the lines exactly word for word. Of course, if you use the line "Maria, there ain't gonna be no baroness." well... I can't say what will happen, but I imagine it won't slip unnoticed.
Ready? First line to get us started is...
"He's got to at least pretend to work with these people."

that's ok... maybe i just made it too confusing. i'll help you get started... max said that to maria. so now you can post a line from the movie that maria says to someone (that isn't max).

The line was in response to Elsa, but Max was part of the conversation, so my first idea was
Max: How many have I had so far?
But that was not a good move -- the recipient only has one line!
So I'll go with
Elsa: I do give some gay parties.
