Oh boy, oh boy! My jaw nearly fell the ground when I read that article. Especially this part: “'We’re actually going to spend most of the retreat casting and rehearsing and then presenting key scenes from The Sound of Music,' he explains. 'So, all the fans will audition for various parts and then every single evening we’ll have maybe a 20-minute performance from some significant segment, with the songs and everything. So this is gonna be very interesting.'”
When I come to think about it, how come nobody thought of this brilliant idea before? This would sell like hotcakes anywhere and any place in the world!

The link isn't working, but what an awesome idea. I want to go to camp! Yes, I think it's gone because the event is over. It was a program in Vermont with scene performance, sing a longs, etc. We'll have to organize one ourselves!!! |
