I was almost positive we had a category for this on here already, but maybe I'm remembering an older board.
I have finally ventured into attempting to write TSOM fanfic! I've written fanfics for other shows (not movies - just TV shows) before, a very long time ago, but never could get my thoughts organized well enough to trying to write for my favorite movie!
I made a pretty good start on one a few nights ago, and have attempted to upload it, following the instructions on the website. However, I've run into a problem.
My first chapter is visible in Document Manager on the website, but when I click "New Story" I get this: No valid (story format) document found
To publish a story, you must first upload the story file on your computer to the Document Manager.
Once a document has been created, you can then convert the document to a story via this page.
No matter what I click, I seem to be stuck between these two - Document Manager telling me the story exists, but New Story telling me it doesn't. And I have NO clue how to go about converting it from a DocX file to something that's publishable!
Can anybody help me? And might it be a good idea to create a separate category for help on the fanfiction.net site?
