Hey! I’m not entirely sure if this is the right place to post this, but I was just wondering if you guys could help me with some one-shot ideas? I’m currently writing a one-shot called “Moments” on FF.Net and it’s a series of one shots about Maria, Georg and the children (no particular order and set before, during and after the engagement)! I’m just struggling for inspiration at the moment so I would be so glad if you could help me with some ideas! ♥️

hmmm tsomwriter great question. There is a category called prompts just below here that may give you some ideas - let me know if you can't find it. I also am a big fan of the simple concept of "missing moments." What are the things we wish we could see in the film? For example the dinner table the evening of Maria's return from the Abbey. Not sure these will all work for one-shots but I love me some MM. Keep us posted!

I would love to see a one-shot on how the first dinner (after Maria returned), went. I was thinking about writing one, but have gotten too busy with other things. But yes, check the prompts thread. It should give you some good ideas!

I'm always most interested in insight into what happened after the movie; both short term as well as long(er) term. Reading about the missing scenes from the movie is of course fun, but since you have a clear beginning and ending in what the movie does show, you generally know what's coming, at least sort of. I guess I enjoy being surprised a bit more. (Also I have a thing for Maria and Georg as a couple - which of course, in the movie for the most part they are not - yet. I'm sure that steers this preference of mine... )

I like reading stories about Georg tells his children he broke off his engagement with the Baroness and asks them if he could marry Maria.
