I am curious as to whether this 2015 50th Anniversary CD of TSOM is worth having, as I already have a CD of TSOM songs. I read that it has a lot more material including intros and incidental music, and the sound quality is very good.

Those of you who have it, is it worth having?! Presumably I can get it on Spotify?

indigoblue , I think the one you are talking about is on Spotify. Just search "sound of music 50th anniversary", and it will come up. The album cover should look more vibrant. It's worth a listen - there is some content that was not on the original, like the Laendler and a little bit of the 16 going on 17 reprise that was not in the movie. I think the sound quality is somewhat better, and as for owning it it's your call, because I currently own the original.
