once again we are a little squeezed for storage space. I try to remove old, large images first. Note that full size screencaps are the biggest culprits, which doesn't mean you shouldn't use them, but you may also want to include a link so that a year down the line, if I have to remove your image, the link is still there. please let me know if questions!

I am not very tech savvy. How do you link to a picture from another website? Also, how do you link to a different thread within this site? If anyone could give me the steps on this, I'd be very grateful.

BTW augiesannie I know I post a lot of pictures. No stress at all if you ever need to take some/all of them down. They are mostly needed to make my point in the moment. Thanks for keeping us up and running! |

thanks reverendcaptain, I appreciate your being so understanding. I try to focus on the big ones! Also, I don't know of a more sophisticated way to link to another thread except to navigate over there, cut/copy the link and return to where you want to paste it. As for linking to another site - again, cut or copy the link. In your post, you may be able to just paste, but you can also hit "reply" (not "quick reply") and click on the littie globe, this will allow you to create a hyperlink with an appealing title. Here are examples, not from the screencaps site, because I'm in a hurry right now, but to fanfiction dot net. for example this is the easy way www.fanfiction.net/movie/Sound-of-Music/ and this is the fancy way sound of music fanfiction archiveif you want more info/detail, I'd be happy to help :-) |

augiesannie, there are a lot of 'quotes' which have screencaps etc embedded in them, sometimes the same photo appears four or five times in succession. Any way of removing some of these? I could try to hunt out a few if it helps!

Hi indigoblue, I agree, that is prime territory. The tool they give me SHOULD be finding those for me, but maybe not, so if you stumble on some and send me a link to the post, or really tell me anything about the original post like the date and board, I can make sure I didn't miss them. It is a little hard to understand why some images take SO MUCH ROOM and others, that seem similar, don't. |
