There is a great fanfic in that closet, just waiting to come out. Wait, you know what I mean, right?
They go in there to get something and get locked in. Can be pre-Laendler (harder to come up with the situation, but doable). Can be engagement (getting his uniform?) Can be anytime after the wedding, really.

Is it the closet that holds the blue tie?

Before the Laendler she could be snooping. He finds her, goes in, and closes the door. She thinks (whether he tells her or not) that they are locked in. Engagement? They could simply be hiding from chaperones for a moment, and someone (Frau Schmidt?) sees the door ajar, closes it, and they can't open it from the inside? Post-wedding, well, who needs a reason?

oh, my... i like the idea that they are just trying to grab a couple alone moments during the engagement and then frau schmidt accidentally locks them in. that is just fun... all kinds of yummy fun.

one of my ideas for a writing prompt is writing a scene/story where two characters find themselves stuck in a tight place. look for it next month because i think you guys would rock it.

Although I like the idea of their looking for his uniform, I think I'm most taken with pre-Laendler. I have a number of other ideas now that you got me started and so am looking forward to the prompt!

Mind is reeling. At this rate I will never get back to Love Them All. Though we are almost to the point where that story meets Thoughts.

Sorry, I posted at the bottom of the last page, not realising there was another page! I was referring to your comment, Anne, that you were going to practice cosying up to someone in the closet a la Andrews: could be dangerous, I suggest you make it your husband...

Yes, I imagine it might be odd for me to bundle some other person into the house and start hiding away in closets with him, although I suppose it could be a her, that might be less objectionable.
Ironically, I stopped to pick dinner up last night and went into the restroom; owing to some weird motion detector thing, while I was in there, all the lights went out. No windows. Pitch black. Did I panic? No. I did a bit of literary research instead, waving my hand around in front of my face (couldn't see it) and shuffling around a bit in the dark before pawing through my purse and finding my phone to light my way out of there. I would happily have lingered to spar with any handsome Captains within, but I was alone, alas.

YES. I think I remarked on it once before, but she is as close to being on his lap as she can possibly be without actually being on his lap. i think the hands are saying a lot too... they both seem to feel the need to keep their hands busy. so they don't get, uh, busy. rawr. Haha, I love the way how you all analyse their touching. It's fun to read and look for the signs, very observent of you. I also noticed that their shoulders are touching.

Nice catch, mireille, indeed their shoulders are touching. In case you haven't guess, we (over)analyze absolutely everything.

Hahaha you make me You get the best idea’s from analyzing things! There is a movie when someone talks about a woman’s personal circle around her. That men aren’t aloud to enter it without permission. I’m sure Julie didn’t mind that Chris entered that personal circle. Oh I can’t remember what movie it’s from .

me to <3. Read the book, if you must. They have it at my library, but I bought a copy for a dollar and will happily lend it out. Be prepared to disapprove. Yeah, I listened to the audio book, and quite a few parts gave me "wtf?!" face. Especially when he talked about his affairs with a married woman, and then a physical therapist during the filming of the Sound of Music. I think it was after that last one that I straight up had enough and just quit listening; I haven't touched it since.

The WORST one was when he was talking about what teenage guys go through during Puberty. I legit started yelling, "STOP!" and "CEASE!" at my computer. I was just... WHY??!! WE KNOW THIS! WE DON'T NEED TO BE TOLD THIS PLAINLY! WTF, OTHER CHRIS??? WHY HAVE YOU DONE THIS??!!
