Thanks bluesatinsashes. I didn't care so much for the first two but I'm glad I stuck it out because the third one made me laugh! And I did like the way they got the film right, for example, when Georg says, "Maria? Children." Just that way. |

And I did like the way they got the film right, for example, when Georg says, "Maria? Children." Just that way. I know, right?! The actor who plays the Captain in that sketch is Michael McDonald. He can do a lot of spot-on impressions. As a MadTV fan (the show on which this clip came from), I nearly split my gut as soon I saw Michael McDonald walk out from behind the tombstone. Absolutely hilarious. And the way Maria (played by Nicole Parker) said, "Please don't Rolf" was dead-on accurate! She is such a fantastic actress and singer. |

I agree, I didn't like the first two either, but then the 3rd was kind of funny. I'm not big on parodies, especially when they poke fun at my favorite movies.

The thing that cracks me up about the 3rd one is Rolfe's face when he is blowing the whistle on them, and the fact that the lieutenant was literally like 10 feet or so away.
Also "Liesl use your laser eyes".
