What a lovely tribute! I liked that the narrator, upon meeting CP in person just thanked him for all his work. I don't think I would have had the restraint - I definitely would have brought up TSOM and launched into some ridiculous rambling fangirling that I'm sure he would have found annoying and incoherent! haha.
It makes sense that the dialogue in TSOM would have seemed pedestrian and boring to someone used to handling Shakespeare. I'm glad he made his peace with it, even though it was not the bridge to musical theater that he originally signed on for. You would have to eventually appreciate something so successful and beloved even if it wasn't your favorite style of work, right?
I especially liked the pic they used from "Something Good" with CP holding JA's hands to his heart. And the side by sides of the JA with her arm around CP from 1965 and then again much more recently. They are lovely together. *appreciative fangirl sigh*
