I was thinking about the filming schedule today, and remembered that we had talked about it at some point here, but couldn't quite remember where. I found the discussion over in the thread about what great shape Georg is in. I deleted the pics from that thread (since we have limited space on this board) and am posting them here so that we can discuss (and so that I have an easier time finding them the next time I go looking for them). See attached. The running away from the Nazi scenes seem very emotional to tackle so early when the actors wouldn't be that familiar with each other yet. Similarly, the wedding seems like a very intense scene for the first one filmed in Austria. It has to be hard to pretend you are unfamiliar with someone when you "meet" them, after you have been spending night and day with them for months. Though, I guess that's what acting is. Anything jump out at any of you when you look at this schedule? We were trying to analyze Georg's weight gain in the thread about him being in great shape. That's how these pics ended up there to begin with. I don't notice much of a post-Austria weight gain myself. I'll have to make a second post to get the last pic in.

The only thing that jumps out at me is that it's extremely jumbled up!
How do they learn their lines when it is so disordered? Do they look at the script when they are told which scene to do that day? I can understand them learning their lines in a chronological order, because there will be a certain train to what is happening, how they relate to each other, and triggers for certain behaviours etc. But when it is so jumbled up, they have to cut back and forth all the time.
Speaking as someone who always found learning lines impossible, I find it amazing how they remember. Apparently CP could memorise line after line well into his eighties (I believe he needed a little prompting when he got into his nineties).

I've always marveled at this but chalk it up to their being, you know, professional actors. I'm both an Outlander and Bridgerton fan, and both shows filmed extremely intimate scenes at the very beginning when the actors had barely met.

I think it's interesting that the scene in RM's office (when she tells Maria she is leaving to be a governess) is filmed in Austria. All of the other Austria scenes had to be filmed there because they could not be shot in a studio. I'm not sure why they would have rented a studio in Austria for that scene when all of the other interior abbey scenes were filmed in LA.
Also, I can't find "Climb Every Mountain" anywhere on the filming schedule. All of the other songs are listed, but I can't find this song or the accompanying scene after Maria returns to the abbey. They must have also been filmed in Austria on this same set. Maybe I'm just overlooking it?

I think they made a "cover set" or two in Austria so they had something to do in case of rain, although it turned out there was way more rain than could be accommodated as you know. So maybe April 25 1964 but they forgot to mention the song?
