Ok, I was doing my "usual" and listening to Julie Andrews in the car today and this song "A Little Bit in Love" from the album "Broadway's Fair Julie" came on. Listening to the lyrics, i thought it might be appropriate to be in Maria's playlist - probably a post-party, at the abbey, returning to the villa song. Sorry I don't have a link to the actual song but I've posted the lyrics below.

I'm having writers block trying to finish my next story (it is 95% done - I just can't work out the ending) so I'm procrastinating and watching Star! (My Dad brought it over today). I'm hoping I have a spirt of inspiration!

I love that! I'm familiar with Delta via another friend in Australia, love her voice. I also like "Last Night on Earth", which someone used for a Julie/Chris video montage. That may be posted here somewhere, come to think of it.

Just an aside, from the above posts, I thought I'd go and listen to Delta in the car this morning which of course got instantly vetoed by the kids for One Direction (yep, we're in THAT phase). Anyway the song "What Makes You Beautiful" came on and I was surprised when I actually listened to the lyrics that it would be a good G to M song (yeah, surprise, surprise) but also we have have that song on Just Dance on the XBox (so where it plays the song and you have to copy all the dance moves and you get a score of how well you did) and now I can't get the mental image of Captain von Trapp dancing to One Direction out of my head (sorry, I'm really in a very silly mood this morning)
