Click here and scroll down for something that's interesting but made me feel a little wistful.

Somehow these costumes are auctioned off every other year or so. I remember they also had some TSOM costumes at Planet Hollywood on New York's Time Square. I should have a look at the photos to remember which ones, but I remember Gretl's party dress was one of them. I read an interview with Nicholas Hammond in which he mentioned how he had always kept his Lederhose from the movie (although technically speaking they weren't Lederhosen, but never mind). He gave them to his niece a couple of years ago to keep and guess what...she sold them on Ebay! He got very angry when he found out but those Lederhosen paid for her first year in college. Still, it's a shame! It made me wonder if any of the other actors kept any of their costumes.

It’s amazing thinking about how many costumes are made for films and how little time they spend on screen. I love all the costumes from TSOM, they’re all so simple but tell us so much about the characters. Costume design is so intriguing.

I don't recognize all of these. Were they all worn in the movie? I'll have to watch extra closely next time to find them all.

Maybe some of them were just 'try-outs'?
