There's some truly touching video footage of Julie with Amy and Joanna, and her "One on One" television special advocating for the support and adoption of orphaned children is one of my favourites. This woman has truly been ahead of her own time for so long in so many ways, and though she clearly realizes bits and pieces of it, she certainly doesn't see it all.
I do so love it when Julie talks about being a mum. It brings out all this peripheral joy and passion that all ties together, and you see so clearly how she is the woman that she is. I will never not love her!

Found a picture of the entire family on Instagram (honestly, I don't know where people get a hold of such pictures). Gorgeous! That photo was shown by Julie after her "family" montage in her "Evening with Julie Andrews" show. I think she said it was their last family photo before Blake died. Anyway, it is great to see that photo again. We obviously see Emma a lot in the media, and even Jennifer from time to time (especially since she was in "SOB", "That's life" and "Julie" with Julie) but the other kids we don't see that often. |

Yes, I've seen it. Some of their home movies that somehow got shared. And I can't believe how Julie looks even younger there with hardly any makeup!

It's from the Julie! documentary that Julie and Blake filmed as part of the process of making the Julie Andrews Hour. It's super sweet, lots of wonderful footage.  Very candid and funny. |
