This community was created two years ago yesterday! It's fun to visit the members list and see who came in when. Some people were active for a while and even published a lot and then vanished. Some lurk. Some flit in and out. All are welcome! So glad to have been on this journey with you.

I've only been here for a few months, but I'm glad I decided one day to go searching for a TSOM forum. I love how everyone on here seems to get along so well with one another (that doesn't happen on every board) and how encouraging you all are with writing fanfiction. It certainly is a lot of fun to be able to discuss my favorite movie with a group of others who feel the same way about it. Happy birthday to the TSOM board! Thanks everyone for making this a fun place to come and talk!

Oh yes, I NEED to do a gazebo cake (although I think it is a little beyond my cake decorating talents - at the moment my specialty is Frozen birthday cakes for little girls, but I'm getting off topic...) I found this TSOM gazebo cake on google.  It's a shame it's a Liesl and Rolf cake (honestly, who WOULD chose them over Maria and Georg? SMH....) but you get the idea. or I could just do one of these...  Those gum paste cake toppers are a little freaky though.... Attachments:

We did have a viewing party last year where we chatted via FB messenger. It took a bit of coordination due to the different time differences (Europe, Australia and the U.S.) (and hats off to augiesannie who arranged it all) It was fabulous, if I recall correctly! |

I seem to remember there was a problem with whatever means you were planning to use, and FB was the default.
It was great fun, although with more members now, I wonder whether we will be able to fit all the comments in before the story moves on?! I seem to remember it was a bit of a race last time! Would love to do it again sometime.

that's the transcript for the TSOM Live! that was on nbc a couple years ago. not our viewing party. i did not transcribe that. but i think i have the chat somewhere and could do it at some point if people want it. but not today. and probably not tomorrow. or even next week. sometime in august i might have a free day. i wish i were kidding. sigh. or we could just do another view party and forget about the last one, which was great. except when my dvd wouldn't work. and my laptop went evil. shut up, laurel. |

Sounds like a lot of fun! I live tweeted the movie by myself back in December when ABC has its annual showing, complete with my really screwed up sense of humor. Not sure what you guys would make of it.
