I don't think I've seen this photo before. Has anyone else?

I hadn't! Thanks! Methinks Georg would like Maria in that dress.

It appears that he is trying awfully hard to not look in her direction. I bet he sneaked in a few looks though anyways, lol.

friedrich seems strategically situated, going by that grin on his face.

Both boys seems a little distracted by how low cut Julie's top is !!! (and I've seen that one before but it's nice seeing it again anyway)

I hadn't seen this one either.
CP looks like he caught the look on that boys face and was thinking, son please...try to be cool when you check out a lady...

I haven't seen this one. Thanks for sharing.
CP does look like he's had to quickly look away.

Haven't seen it before. I'm guessing it was taken at the end of filming party they had. In the scrapbook there's a picture from that night and Debbie has her hair like that. I love Nicky's face every time he looks at Julie.

I have seen it, it is delicious. Nicky is indeed adorable when he's caught looking at Julie. Chris almost always looks as if he'd like to carry her off and ravish her.

Lol, a lot of crushing going on during the making of this film, Eleanor Parker on the camera man, Nicolas on Julie (I'm not sure, has he ever admitted to such a thing?), Charmian on Chris, and Julie and Chris on each other. Good grief it's all hard to keep up with! Oh yeah, and Saul Chaplin and Betty Levin wound up getting married after working on TSOM together. What is up with this movie and the romance factor?

Yes, Nicholas has spoken many times of his crush on Julie. As for the romance, that we are all here discussing and swooning sort of speaks for itself. This movie is just magic.

Don't forget that Angela and Heather had a thing for Dan Truhitte (who ended up marrying Charmian's stand in) Yeah romance on this film seemed to be through the roof. I didn't know Eleanor had a thing for the camera guy. That's interesting

Well I just finished her book and there's no 'mad passionate affairs' mentioned in it. She admits her crush but nothing more than that and long lasting friendship

He joked (when they were on Oprah? perhaps?) that had he known she had a crush on him he might have made a move, but no, nothing I have seen indicates anything but an unrequited crush on her part.
He was too busy crushing on Julie and bedding Austrian nursemaids to bother with Charmian, lol.

Just finished reading "Forever Liesl" and she mentioned that Dan Truhitte and her stand-in in the wedding scene, Gabrielle (or Gabriella?) fell in love and eventually got married.
