So ... we all know that in his opening scenes, G wears the quasi-military looking trachten. That's what he's wearing for Maria's return from the Abbey, too. At dinner, and then in the balcony and gazebo scenes, he's wearing a suit. But what would you say about what he wears for his walk by the lake with Elsa, and on into the argument with Maria? It's kinda in between. Trachten or not?

It's a trachten sports coat. I googled it and found something very similar, just a bit darker.

I think he's wearing the same thing and to be even more specific they called it a trachten hunting sports coat.
