Rehearsing.........ah uh.....they look like they are working really hard in that picture.  There is another picture of them during this same interaction with them all standing around laughing. |

Is this what they're doing here? |

also in the picture of the children, that hardly looks like charmian - she WAS cast last, you know. maybe that was another liesl, the others often talk about how there were multiple liesls in rehearsal.

I think it is her. I read in "Forever Liesl" that Robert Wise told her to gain a few pounds to make her look younger. Maybe this was before she gained weight and therefore looks a bit unfamiliar. |

Yes I believe that is the potato sack dress. Unless she changed. It's definitely the same photo session.
And that is definitely Charmian. I'd guess it was before she gained the extra weight (if we're talking rehearsals, probably). Also, I think she might be a bit closer to the camera than the rest of them, hence looking taller.
But maybe she's just wearing heels. Maybe it's both.

I'm sure they are. Especially Nicholas. The look he has every time he is with Julie is just adorable. I think that's partly why Friedrich is my favourite one of the children.

Well, well, well. I log off the forum for 24 hours and come back and see this. 19 notifications and a Participated Threads window buzzing with new responses! Honestly, I don't even get 19 notifications on Facebook. Not even close to 19  I guess I pretty much took over the Images board yesterday.  The last photo of Julie with the kids--it hardly looks like her! I mean, is her hair tied back or something? Anyways, it's still an adorable photo. |
