Oh, I love the 3 JA and James Garner movies. I have them all, although only the A of E on video so I haven't watched it in ages as I'll have to get out our VRC and hook it up again. I can't remember if the first time I saw the A of E it was in b&w but the version I have is in colour (so I turned the colour down to watch it in b&w)
I loved the banter between them on One Special night and how slowly they go from hating each other to loving each other (sound familiar?)
Of course Victor/Victoria requires a whole other thread to do it justice. I still remember receiving the movie for Christmas and I had sooooo been looking forward to seeing it and after I watched it Christmas night, I immediately rewound it and watched it again (and then twice on Boxing Day too). And I have the version on Broadway (DVD and cd) and since I couldn't go to New York to see it, my dad bought me all the merchandise (I love my Victor/Victoria mug and poster!)

The A of E is on You tube, that way you don't have to plug in your vcr
I've gotten Victor/Victoria from Santa last year along with Darling Lilly.
In all three movies you see the connection they have. Have you heard the commentary of Blake&Julie on V/V?
Julie says she loves his facial expressions, which I totally agree.
One of my favorite scenes is the one after the bar fight, when they are in bed and they are discussing their future.

I think they said that between the 3 movies and all the rehearsals they kissed about 500 times.  do you know they have OSN fanfic? not a lot and not really much to get excited about, but it's there. Yes I've read them all. They were lovely and there is one or two I like. But I think it's difficult to know how they would go on from there. I read one where they had twins, really?! That's not something I would picture for them. To me they try to start their lives, dealing with work and Robert’s children/grandchildren. If they need time for themselves they run of to their cabin. In my eyes they deserve some loving-traveling-enjoying-each-other, after some very hard years. As I said before I got the dvd for Christmas. I too read that at the time it was filmed it had poor reviews. I don't understand why. The music is wonderful, the script is great. The actors superb. I added it to my favorite movies. One thing I’m not really sure of and might try to figure out one day. Picnic at 3am, best time because there are no ants…. Really do ants sleep???  |

I absolutely love this movie. I will admit I fast forwarded through some of the scenes that Julie wasn't in but I didn't miss much seeing as she's the main character. I highly recommend this movie to anyone.

I have it on DVD and love it! I'm not a rebel.... I am Totally 100% Obsessed with Julie Andrews so ANYTHING Julie Andrews is ok and awesome. Being a rebel is watching and listening to someone else, although I do do that regularly... I have other loves you know...
