Don't ask me why I put this here instead of under CP. But anyway, every time I watch the blueberries scene, I am struck anew by the way he crouches for an extended period of time while playing the scen. If it were another actor, I'd guess it was an attempt to portray cozy intimacy with the children. But I think we are supposed to get the message that Georg is very fit for a middle aged retired guy.

Never thought about it that way, but I guess it is true. It's moments like that, that make me wish he didn't gain weight while filming. I mean, they did a good job covering it up with the costumes, but the scenes that were filmed earlier are just sooo delicious.

We really need a drooling icon. Not all of my hot flashes are because I'm perimenopausal.

Don't forget all those military exercises---pull ups, push ups, lunges. Service guys get in great shape and many of them stay that way for a long, long time. Phew. Rather warm, isn't it?

I agree. Funny, I was thinking about this idea earlier tonight when I was mentally planning my honeymoon encounter story before I read your post. Great minds think alike!!

I have a mental image in my mind of Maria being distracted by a splashing sound one afternoon when in her room. She looks out of the window to see someone swimming across the lake and back...and it is only when he climbs out, up the Pegasus Landing, that she realises...
Open a window, someone!!

Seems to me I read something like that in reverse where he watches her go for dip. And then joins her. And then...

OK very rough draft but here is a sneak peak to what I wrote last night. It will be in chapter 1 of Honeymoon encounters.
x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x
As Maria rolled over again, one very pleasant experience in particular from that very morning came to her mind. She had left Georg on the terrace of their suite to finish breakfast while she went and showered. Only moments after she had entered the bathroom she realised that she had left her shampoo in her suitcase, still not fully unpacked since arriving in Paris two days before. She quickly left the bathroom to retrieve it and was about to head back in when a movement from the bedroom caught her eye. Glancing back into the bedroom, she saw Georg walking past taking off his robe revealing that he was wearing nothing but tight undershorts that left nothing to the imagination. Of course being married to him, she knew exactly what lay beneath those undershorts but the sight of him in that attire was still enough to cause her heart to race.
Her breath caught in her throat as she saw him, the muscles on his chest rippling as he raised his arms above his head to stretch. In a flash, he had dropped to the ground and proceeded to do push-ups. How many? Maria didn't know as she had quickly lost count while she stood transfixed watching her husband exercise. The strength of the muscles in his arms and the speed at which he competed the sets of push-ups along with the sound of his heavy breathing due to the strenuous exercise, quickly made Maria weak at the knees.

@utility.... are you OK with me using your phrase "tight undershorts that left nothing to the imagination"? I can change it if you want but it is such an awesome phrase that I just really wanted to use it!!

Thanks!! Don't you worry... I'm going and going... Well it's written. In the final edit, but I had to stop for the school run. Depending on how much the kids bug me when I get home, it will be up in a few hours (sorry to those who will be heading off to bed soon - you'll probably have to wait until your tomorrow).

Yeah, i mean, he could melt the snow, right?? And then we'd had just CP WITHOUT the snow... yummy!!! (more droolin just by imagining CP w/me meltin the snow)
