Well, I'm sure we have all pondered at some point over the many different hairstyles that the Captain has sported during the film. Some are better than others but which ones do we really like? I know that some of the screencaps I've used are pretty similar hair wise but there may be slight differences and to be honest I just got a bit carried away!  This is just a fun poll to see if there is a clear winner. You have two votes so use them wisely!  I'm sorry these are so small. I was trying to add larger pics but I ran into some problems. Mmm I voted and then I changed my mind, and now I am changing my mind again!! He's so handsome that I can't decide, I'm just sure that I don't like his hairstyle during Edelweiss, he looks too old there... I guess I would have to agree with eve93 and take it as an excuse to watch the movie again  |

I'm trying to figure out which of these my hair looks the most like... I have wavy hair that does that big wave in the front thing? Hmm... Have to check in the front camera. I think I have "Nun-magnet", "Edelweiss", and "Man in Uniform" hair, most of the time. The longer it gets, the more we get into "Back from Honeymoon" territory. Especially in the back, when it starts to curl up.

That's a spicy backstory for the balcony scene, if she was actually seething about that inside, and trying to pretend all was well...good spot!

I always assumed that Elsa wore a flashy dress to dinner to really capture Georg's attention, since she was afraid that she was losing him to Maria (again). It never occurred to me that this outfit could have had nothing to do with Maria. I love this idea that they had some big fancy plans that got cancelled! This would make a great fanfiction! |

I think Augiesannie might have written something about this before, something like "he wanted to go out and Elsa got dolled up for him and then he was preoccupied and changed his mind last minute and she had to go along with that too" (I'm sorry if I horribly butchered the synopsis)?
I feel like if they did have plans he canceled last minute Elsa would be the type to either concede gracefully on the outside (while cursing Maria for distracting him on the inside), or she would simply go ahead alone or with Max...

In this particular situation, I don't think she'd go alone or with Max. I don't think she'd want Georg and Maria alone at the house without her there (maybe this is why she's looking for him when she finds him on the balcony? She is afraid he is off getting personal with the governess? and in a way he kind of is..) I vote for conceding gracefully while secretly fuming on any potential fancy plans.

As for his outfit, I like the tails and medals at the party. He looks so handsome! And the Laendler is my favorite scene. Though, I can't say that there is any outfit that looks bad on him. The trachten suit, smoking jacket, gazebo suit, back from honeymoon suit, wedding uniform, I'm sure I'm missing some, but he looks incredible in every scene.
