Maybe she's bracing herself before entering the freezing cold church?

https://instagram.com/p/3n6PNQS7M1 https://instagram.com/p/7NbRvoS7If I know this has nothing to do with these photos, but I have a random question for you: to those who are married, have any of you walked down the aisle to TSOM Wedding Processional? To those who are not married, would you walk down the aisle to this song when your big day comes? I heard of a woman who used this as her wedding song when I was watching a TSOM documentary. If I'm not mistaken, she also named her kids Liesl and Kurt (or was that in another documentary?).

Haha, no I did not. I walked down to the traditional Here Comes the Bride song. It didn't even cross my mind to do it in TSOM fashion. I do love the organ; though, so I had them play it on that. The one thing I do wish I had thought of would have been to dance the Landler at the reception.

I walked down the aisle to Mozart so that's kinda Salzburg-y.

No, I didn't, but I'd have loved to. We used Pachelbel's Canon in D. The church we married in wasn't quite majestic enough, lol.
Maria Shriver famously asked R&H for permission to use it when she married Arnold Schwarzenneger

OH YES! And even a bit with the nuns - I wondered how they did that - the door into the church is definitely not what we see in the film. Thank you

It looks as if he is holding a microphone for the reel-to-reel recorder at Julie's feet, so I'm thinking a reporter?

I was thinking a reporter as well. Maybe he's doing an interview.

There is something about that moment when he takes her hand and leads her to the altar. Because yes, he "leads" her, but she also has a queenly, confident air that is new for Maria.

She reached for him and that look he gives her when he takes her hand and leads her. He can barely take his eyes from her, he's so captivated by her.

I'm dredging up this hilarious thread for those who have not yet had the fortune to read it - anyone got more photos of the wedding?
