I LOVE this - I saw something similar a while back - because the angle is a little different from anything we see in the movie? Or at least it freezes a moment so we can really enjoy it. And we are so so desparate for ANYTHING more about the wedding experience, that it really scratches an itch. I think it bears out my claim that the moment is more solemn than joyous (although also joyous). He looks like . . . like he really loves her. and respects her. and is looking forward to that trip to Paris, oh yes.

As you can tell from my avatar how much I love the wedding photos! The story behind my love of my avatar pic is because our original copy of the movie was one we had recorded from the tv. And those were the days (gosh I sound old) where if you didn't want the ads in the movie, you sat there with the pause button on the recording for the ads and then pressed it again once the movie was back on. Well when my dad recorded it, there was an ad straight after something good but he missed anti-pausing the movie so we always had missed the bit when the veil goes on (avatar pic). Anyway, he kept telling me about how good that tiny shot was and years later when I saw a full version of the movie, I was totally in love with that shot hence.....

distraction? what is that? Oh that's right... the fact that I'm still writing the essay I was writing about 3 hours ago... (I did also have a phone call, a baby to feed and a school pickup to do). I need to tell myself to log off and just do my assignment before the pre-school pickup in half an hour!!
