Wow. I didn't see some of the photos before. I remember one day I was watching the wedding scene on youtube and one of the comments wrote something like "How do you solve a problem like Maria? You find her a charming wealthy guy and marry her off. Then she would be someone else's problem." And another comment said "Yes, and let's congratulate the bride by roasting her while she's walking down the aisle. "

This reminds me that when I viewed ABC's annual showing here in the US of A in December (and you know you've watched it on ABC enough times if you can predict when the commercial breaks are coming), that when she's walking down the aisle there are quite a few people in the crowd who aren't exactly dressed like "I'm attending a high-society wedding." This is especially the case with the women. I'm sure there were hundreds, if not thousands, of extras used to fill the cathedral and they were probably told what types of outfits to wear, but still...
