Wedding dress and Elsa's gown are notable. Blue dress not even mentioned? But he couldn't take his eyes off her!!
Men's attire also neglected. So here's a list for that:
- G's oh so tight travel trousers.
- Rolf's nazi knee revealng shorts.
- Herr Zeller's tyrolean hat that makes his dummy head look huge.
- Poor Friedrich's entire wardrobe. Give the lad some pants.

I thought it was silly to include a photo of a deleted scene in that list (Liesl and Rolf at the fountain).
And I love everything Elsa wears except that mauve dress she wears when they announce their engagement to the children and Maria returns from the Abbey.

HAHAHAH I love G's travelling outfit mainly because of the hat and it's not even the hat itself but THE WAY HE WEARS IT like TILTED SIDEWAYS SLIGHTLY IT MAKES HIM LOOK SO ROGUE-ISH AND MAKES ME MELT IN A PUDDLE OF TEARS because nobody wears hats like that where I live. Heck nobody wears hats where I live
Anyway I really like the blue edelweiss dress (as does everyone else), and the wedding dress and I also kind of like the laendler dress? Not sure why everyone hates it hahaha
And I think the Baroness' entire wardrobe is like glam and I love it all but I really like the red one with the bow (the lakeside one) for some reason :/

I, too, really like the red suit with the bow. I think because it so beautifully shows how unsuited she is for life in the country for seven children.

I seem to remember there is a clip of CP in tight shorts in the Circus Comes To Town - check it out on You Tube!
But to return to more decent outfits, give me the Captain on his Wedding Day and the Baroness in pink with a bow and you have one heck of a glam couple!

I liked Elsa's party dress, am I the only one? Harpers Bazaar liked it! Agree that the lavender dress was the least appealing of hers. And yes, the tilt of G's hat. LOL lemacd re Zeller's head. I always liked the dress Maria wears when she returns from the Abbey but I gather that others don't. But HB does, I've got that in my favor |

Talking of Men's Fashion and Tight Trousers, I couldn't fail but to notice how the short cut of Rolf's jacket revealed the er...neat tailoring of his trousers...'nuff said?, or am I committing heresy to compliment Rolf on a part of his anatomy?!

so, i am the only one who doesn't care for elsa's pink w/ bow that she wore when they first arrive at the villa? ok, then. sigh. i should be so used to this by now.
hands down, G in his wedding attire is the ultimate. and i love elsa's ball gown. it would have been awesome if maria did go to the party and had a gown she dressed up in to do so but that would have probably completely ruined the effect of seeing her in that bomb-diggity wedding gown.

If it makes you feel better, I love the red suit but I do hate the bow. At least the ginormousness of it, but then, that's our Elsa, yes?
Keep reading Matchmaker, and you will see Maria dressed up for the ball. Like Cinderella. Yep. But that's all you're getting as a spoiler.
