I don't know if this is what eve93 meant (that is not working anymore), but there is something on this board about getting the videos to play Yes I was talking about a Proxy indeed, but didn't know if I could mention it here, as it's not entirely legal.  Anyway...I had two of them in Chrome, but since 2 weeks ago or so they don't work anymore. I used to be able to watch things the BBC and NBC had region blocked etc. And I've just tried the "changing your country in Youtube" thing with a video in Australia that is region blocked for me, but it doesn't work for me, does that really work for someone? Thanks for the link to that thread by the way! |

So I made another video  This one is still about Georg and Maria but it's more about what he had become before Maria came into his life. I've used this song so many times before for Anna and Bates videos ( lemacd will no doubt recognise it) but it such a great angsty one. I hope you like it. |

So... this isn't just a fanvid about the film, it's also a fanvid about a fanfic story! This video was inspired by the wonderful story written by lemacd . The story is called “If Love Finds You Worthy” and is a sequel to “No Safe Place”. The latter is a very dark tale which leaves Georg and Maria in a seemingly irreconcilable state, however, lemacd does a remarkable job by bringing them back together through the power and strength of words. Whilst this video cannot recreate that exactly I have tried to tell a story whereby Maria does leave when the Captain tells her to pack her bags and not because of the Baroness. The Captain quickly realises his terrible mistake and through letters they are brought back together where their love slowly grows. I have used the song “Falling Slowly” before and had it in mind for a video about Maria and Georg but when I saw that lemacd had actually listened to the song when she wrote at least one of her chapters I knew I had to use it again. Thank you so much to lemacd for allowing me to use extracts from her story in the video. The video is by way of a thank you to her for writing one of, if not the best TSOM fanfic out there. I take that as a huge compliment, thank you. its just a hobby, but I wish that maybe I had gone down this sort of route many years ago instead of what I actually did. i started making them when my eldest son was just a baby, so about 13 years ago now! The first ones I made were truly terrible but then as I learned from other people's and eventually got some better video editing software, then they slowly started getting better. I'd recommend it to anyone to have a go at, it's a lot of fun but very time consuming. |

The song is from Ellie Goulding and is used in the latest Bridget Jones movie.
