Odd how, in that photo, it looks like Charmian has wet hair - and is she showing Saul Chaplin the dirt on her dress from climbing up to the window? Presumably she has just come off set from the scene in Maria's bedroom to sing with Dan, who of course, wasn't in it.
I'm wondering what Mr P is doing there - do you think he was doing a bit of singing with Saul Chaplin at the piano too, so they could see how his voice was shaping up?

Too much pretty in one photo...Newman and Andrews were pretty much the biggest male and female movie stars in the world at this time, so Paramount wanted both of them in Torn Curtain. It was not the right decision.
I always liked Andrews in this dress
